Democracy... Donald Trump
The country that is considered one of the best and the oldest democracy in the world. The country that is considered the most powerful country. The country which always interferes in the disputes of other countries. What happens when the supreme power of this country got mad...America.
Donald Trump, 45th president of one of the best democracies in the world. He did a shameful act that a man in his place was not expected to do, a black spot on 240 years old America's democracy, which affects the whole world not only America.
What did Trump do to regain power...
On the 3rd of Nov, presidential elections were held in America, in which Joe Biden won the elections having a clear majority on 306 seats, whereas Trump was at 232seats. Trump lost the elections and he was expected to pass on his power to the new President Joe Biden. But he didn't do it, in fact, he blamed others that his votes are stolen and cheated.
In the parliament...
On the 6th of Jan 2021, a parliament meeting was going on in US Capitol to finally stamp on the victory of Joe Bidon. Even in this meeting Trump and his followers were trying to turn over the results of the elections. To do this, they targeted Mike Pence( Vice-President of America) and pressurized him, thinking that he will support them, but he said 'I love Constitution and work what it says' and didn't support him. After this, Trump realized that he can't do anything inside the parliament.
Protests by Republicans...
Outside of the Capitol building, Trump's followers were assembling for 6th Jan. They were appealed to assemble on 6 Jan by Trump and his Followers to protect America from Joe. His thousands of followers were assembled in the Ellipse Garden near White House, where he addressed for about 1 hour, marched a rally, saying that he has been cheated, and they will get their right by violence. He and his followers inflamed the crowd against the parliament to use weapons and violence. He said to the crowd to reach the parliament building and also said that they will not get their right by the silence that means he was encouraging people to fight.
The crowd reached the Capitol soon by marching and shouting slogans, in which many were treasured with weapons. After a fight of approx 90 min, protestors entered the buildings. Some climbed with walls and some with poles. Instantly, police take the MPs, media persons, and officers to an underground bunker. Rest ran here and there to save their life. Protestors entered the parliament, some took photos by punching the desk, a man took a photo by sitting on the speaker's chair. A lot of police force was called in an emergency. They tried to control the protestors, smoking grenades were fired, firing took place, the protest started on afternoon end in the evening. 4 people died.
Clearly, Trump was responsible for all this. Many great personalities directly or indirectly criticized Trump including 4 of the old presidents of America, the Presidents of Germany, Britain, and Brazil, etc.
Twitter and Facebook blocked Trump because he was spreading violations in people through Social Media and removed his posts.
At last, I will say that he has committed a crime and he must be punished for what he did.
In short...
- Trump was defeated in elections.
- He claimed that he has been cheated.
- He inflamed his followers to attack Capitol and they do so, but nothing changed.
- He is still spreading violations, Twitter and Facebook also blocked his accounts temporarily.
