How to find our passion and talent in 5 minutes ||7 golden ways||

According to a study, 87% of people don't even like their jobs and they are just doing and doing work that means 8 hours per day almost 33% of our life we are spending in those works which we don't want to do and obviously rest 33% we are spending in sleeping. We know that, people get extraordinary success only  when they get their passion. So friends, you will read 7 amazing points that will help you to find your passion from the book 'The Art of  Work' by Jeff Goins.

1. Prepare

This point says that first of all you must have a feeling that says to you "Bro definitely there will be  something more, something different, i am not born just for this" even in a unsatisfacted way. When we consciously live with this feeling. Then you have to write all the major events of your life on a paper whether they are good or bad. This will shape you. Now by reading the list  you have to find what type of things were making you happy, when you thought that you had achieved something. There are many chances that you will find your talent and passion in these events. Unfortunately, if you didn't find then the answer is given by Steve Jobs. He says "Find your passion continiously but never settle, before you find it" because whenever you will find your passion, you will got to know.

2. Accidental Apprenticeships

In the old stories what happens a hero had to fight with a villain but the villain is so powerful. So basically before fighting with villain he needs a coach and this coach improves the skills of the hero and make him a master. because if anyone get  any post then there is a contribution of a lot of people. It doesn't matter whether we except it or not. Jeff says there is nothing like 'self-made-man', because even the best of best persons in the world have their mentors, teachers or guides. Mentor of Warren Buffet was Benjamin Graham. Michael jordan has coach. The world richest person or bezoz says that everybody whose books or biographies are read by him are his mentors. Once steve jobs also sais that he sees his life or business as a 'Beatless band" .Here band has 4 persons. They help each other and give feedback to each other. That's why what they did together can't be  done by single soul. Same is the business, if you want growth in business then it can't be done all alone. It needs a whole team of mentors. So, always take help of your mentors, never hesitate.

3. Painful practice

In a speech in IIT Bombay by Sachin Tendulkar he said "For me, passion is that when I played cricket , i didn't get tired at all but as i reached home. I felt so tired that i went to my bed at first. I couldn't be able even to take food". That means when you have passion you never think about the duration of work , you just keep on practicing whether it is painful or not. Author said the same in his book that excellence comes from practise not from passion. So obviously we have to devote number of hours. Many a times the practice  will be painful but if it's our passion then we will never quit and will do that work continiously.

4. Building Bridges

This point says that no miracles happen like we see a dream in the night and we get our passion in the morning. It is a continious process and we have to take steps continiously means we have to keep expeimenting with our ideas and then a time will come when we will get our passion. When Steve Jobs along with his partner Steve Woznaic returned to America. They started making games for Atari company and also made Blue box telephone dialing devices . In both the cases they focused on decreasing the number of Integrated circuits in the board so that the cost of poduct can be decreased. But both know that they have to do something different but don't know what to do.Then they saw the first micro-computer of that time in an event. Then both feel that this is a promising thing and by this we can make our first product(apple).

5. Pivot points

You should pivot everytime until you are satisfied, that means do the first job , didn't like it , do the next one after some time. No need to be emotional if you get failures. Many times it takes a lot of time in finding our passion and when we get the passion we realise  why all these failures were important and if those failures would not be there then we could not have done what we have done. Elon Musk says " People are even scared of taking small risks".Ya it is exceptable if we have a family and we are supporting it or our home is on rent and we change our job then there is a risk that how we will provide bread to our family. But if we are young, and we are not supporting our family than their is no risk , obviously we will not die of hunger. Elon says " Most of the people are not afraid of taking risk they are afraid of failures".

6. The Portfolio Life

In this point author says that we should have our passion only in work life. We should have it in 4 things that are 1.Work  2. Home 3.Play 4.Purpose. We should also spend some time in home because home also give meaning to our life. Play means the activity which we want to do, whether it is generating income or not and purpose is the main goal of our life for which we are ready to take risk.

 7. Magnum Opus

Warren Buffet says "If i want than i can retire right now" But i like my work the most. So after waking up in the morning , i think to reach my office and start working and i am happy because i am doing what i want to do and  i am always surrounded by the people of same interest". According to Warren best advice is to find your passion and do it . If you get your passion than you will never like to stop. In this point author also says that our calling our legacy even inspire others when we are no more in the world. According to author true calling never ends, we can't finish it in our whole life and keep on improving. For example the greatest of all Leonardo the Vinchi continue to brush his painting Mona Lisa for Years. keep on improving it. He didn't know that he had completed his Master Piece. That's passion.
