What is the reaction of Indian Govoernment on Republic Day Protest by Farmers? How and when the protest started? All about farmers protest from start to end...

Agriculture, with its allied sectors, is the largest source of livelihood in India. 70% of its rural households still depend primarily on agriculture for their livelihood, with 80% of farmers being small and marginal(they have less than 2 hectares of land). So it's obvious if such a huge number of people depend on a single sector, resources( land resources) will lack.

Most of the farmers in India have a very small piece of land, which leads to a very small profit or even loss, they also lack advanced machines. Because of all these problems, farmers are very poor in India, which leads to protests against the government.

Such a protest is going on in India for the last 170 days in Delhi. The government is trying to solve the issues of farmers by taking one after one meeting. But problems arise when external powers are leading farmers, forcing them to violence for their own benefits. So here in this article, you will get to know all about farmer protest, all the updates, what is the action of the central govt. on this protest, so read the article till the last.

Why and when the protest started?

Basically, the protest started on 9 August 2020 in Delhi. The farmers from Punjab and Haryana have been on the frontlines of this protest. The passing of the three farm bills by Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha is considered a problem among farmers, which lead to a massive protest against the Central government.

Problems that farmers have with the three farm bills...

One of the major issues pointed out by farmers is the fact that the bills exclude a price guarantee mechanism like MSP. "The government says there will be an MSP, but can it assure whether procurement will be done at MSP. Farmers also think that these laws will make their production a public business and face problems selling their crops.

If experts are to be believed, the newly passed bills will introduce farmers to free markets allowing them to sell crops at higher prices.

How protest was going on till 25 Jan 2021...

Till 25 Jan farmer's protest was going in a very correct way without any violence. Farmers were presenting their demands and problems against three farm bills and the government was trying to solve them. One after one meeting was going on between political leaders and farmer leaders.

Ya... some small fights were captured but they are almost negligible. Some farmer leaders like Rajdeep Sardesai, Rakesh Tikait gave violent statements.

But many agendas saw it as a great opportunity to defame the country, defame the government, to get their wishes completed. They know citizens are very sensitive about farmers, their little effort can result in a bloody Holi. They do it, resulting in a massive protest against the country by farmers on the Republic Day of India on 26 January.

Republic Day protest by Farmers...

Farmer leaders like Bhanu and many others were granted permission for a tractor parade by the Central Government with more than 20 conditions like the leader should be on the first tractor, the parade has a fixed route, etc. Tractor Parade (representing farmer's power) joined the Republic Parade for the first time.

Massive and violent protests on Republic Day became a mission for propaganda like Khalistani, Communists, opposition (Congress).  Problems were raised when such agendas and propaganda start leading the protest, when paid and professional protestors joined it, ya they were in the starting too but in a few amount. Many protestors were also in the Sahin Bagh protest, which clearly shows that they are paid.

On 26 Jan Republic Day of India, farmers lead to a great protest, they break all the conditions that were signed for the tractor parade, they didn't follow the route, they were looking very violent, they removed huge containers. They beat police workers, even women police. Approx. 85 policemen were injured. Farmers were beating them with sticks. They crossed all the limits. But the shameful moment comes for India when they disturbed the Indian Flag 'Tiranga'.

With this shameful act, they lost all sympathy they were getting from ordinary people all over India on the name 'Anna Data'. They lost their support from the common people of India. Indian people realized that they are not real farmers they are paid protestors who are funded from foreign countries like Canada, Australia, Pakistan by Khalistan.

Government strategy and its reaction against protest...

Central Government reacted to this protest in a very appreciable way. They failed all the cabals of opposition. Actually, these propagandas planned that they will inflamed people and add their paid protestors along with them. Farmers will try to enter Delhi that was not their route. Definitely, even a child, knows Police will definitely try to stop them, farmers will not stop and Police will fire which will lead to Bloody Republic Day.

After this, the Modi government can be easily blamed by the opposition and the Modi govt. had to resign under pressure from the common people. As they were very sensitive about farmers. Khalistanis could demand their separate nation Khalistan and all their wishes could be accomplished easily.

But it didn't happen because of the appreciable strategy by the Central govt., actually govt. left the farmers alone. Nobody stopped them from entering Delhi. Protestors beat policemen brutally. But the policemen showed appreciable patience. They had guns and other weapons. If they wanted then they could stop protestors. But they didn't, because they know a single fire or a single death would have made this protest 100 times complicated.

Definitely more and more people could have joined the protest. But policemen didn't fire and protestors did what they want, even disturbed Tiranga and tried to host their Khalistani flag, which leads to an end of sympathy in the hearts of common people to these fake farmers.

Results...

Now, when protestors have lost their sympathy from the common people. Govt. is using its power against protestors. Govt. is arresting the leaders, protestors who beat policemen. The government is now forcing protestors to leave. An example is shown in Ghazipur by UP C.M. Now, the protest has come to end. Government is in its power and arresting protestors. Many farmer leaders like Bhanu had left the protest as they saw it going in the wrong direction. Journalists like Rajdeep who were spreading violence on their channels have escaped, and police searched for a journalist like him. Opposition leaders like Rahul Gandhi and Kejriwal, who saw it as an opportunity to defame the Modi govt did a very shameful act. Nobody knows where they are...

This is a lesson to all those protestors who oppose the country's welfare and we should not support such protest. Be wise...

Thank you
